Tasmania Tour
Hobart - Hobart (21 Days)
Australia is a land of many contrasts. That contrast is no more evident than between the mainland and Tasmania.
If you have travelled the mainland with us, or independently, the first contrast you will notice is the short distance between major centres and the many hills and mountains. This means some winding roads and in places some steep mountain climbs.
This all adds to the Tasmanian experience as we take you on a 2,000 km journey over 21 days. There are many tour highlights of which one or two stand out such as The Arthur River situated in the far northwest of the island. This is well worth the visit because the bar is not accessible by boat. The river has therefore remained untouched by loggers and miners and can be seen just as nature intended.
Cradle Mountain is another beautiful spot as is the West Coast Wilderness Railway, which travels around 35 km between Strahan and Queenstown through some very spectacular country, most of it inaccessible by road.
As usual just about everything is included in the tour price - your only extras being fuel, food and personal expenditure.
