Red Centre And Western Australia Tour
Melbourne - Darwin - Perth - Melbourne (76 days)
This is one of our most popular tours. We start at Melbourne and journey up the Great Ocean Road to Adelaide for a four-night stopover. We then travel to the Top End via the Red Centre. Extended stopovers have been arranged at Ayres Rock, Kings Canyon, Alice Springs and Katherine Gorge, as well as numerous shorter stops along the way. We start our journey through Western Australia with a visit to Litchfield National Park.
On our way down to Perth we visit Lake Argyle said to hold ten times more water than Sydney Harbour and spend some time lazing on the beach at Broome. We watch wild dolphins being fed at Monkey Mia, and then visit Kalbarri and Eneabba for wild flower viewing. (depending on time of year and rain) After another extended stopover at Perth we start our trip across the Nullarbor Plains said to be one of the world's greatest road trips. Our 13,500 kms journey ends at Melbourne with stopovers at Broken Hill and the Murray River townships of Mildura and Barham.
