New Zealand Tour
Christchurch - Queenstown - Wellington - Rotorua - Auckland (21 days)
The New Zealand Escorted Motorhome Tour takes in many of the best sights of both the North and South Islands. Our tour begins in Christchurch, known locally as the Garden City. We take in the spectacular sights at Larnach Castle in Dunedin before heading to Te Anau. Here we have included a full day tour to Milford Sound including a scenic cruise. Then it's on to New Zealand's adventure capital, Queenstown where you will experience the thrills of the Shotover River jet boat. We drive through some of the most spectacular scenery in the Haast Pass, before taking a guided tour of a living glacier, the Fox Glacier, on the West Coast. After panning for gold at Shantytown in Greymouth we visit New Zealand's sunshine capital, Nelson.
From here we take one of the best ferry rides anywhere in the world across the Cook Strait to Wellington, New Zealand's capital city. After leaving Wellington, we make our way to Napier to enjoy a tour of one of the many wineries. Then it's on to Taupo for a cruise on New Zealand's largest lake. We have also included a visit to Hells Gate to see geysers and mud pools at the spectacular thermal wonderland of Rotorua plus a Maori culture performance and dinner. Adventure awaits at Waitomo Caves and then we finish our tour in Auckland, New Zealand's city of sails with a visit to one of New Zealand's top attractions, Kelly Tarlton's Antarctic Encounter & Underwater World.
